For a diabetic, being
on the right diet is the single most important way to
keep their blood sugar levels under control.
The number of "diabetic
diets" is almost endless.
"Experts"
recommend everything from eating lots of whole grain
foods and fresh fruit, to drinking exotic fruit juices,
to just plain old counting calories.
But statistics show
that most type 2 diabetics get worse over time despite
these diets.
Some of the symptoms
of worsening are: slow but steady weight gain, lack
of energy, needing higher dosages of diabetic medications.
Other symptoms are developing high blood pressure, elevated
cholesterol or triglyceride levels.
Why is this happening?
Why don't these diets work?
They don't work
because they are not addressing the right problem.
The problem is that
the average American diet is very different than the
diet the human body evolved with during the last million
years.
In
other words, you can't develop and build an autombile
that runs on gasoline, and then all of a sudden pour
Scotch Whiskey into the gas tank, and expect it to run
the same.
Speaking in evolutionary
terms, the bodies we have today are basically the same
as those of the hunter-gatherers and nomads of 10,000
years ago.
Ten thousand years
is like the blink of an eye when you are talking evolution
and physical body change.
To the hunter-gatherers
the primary source of food was protein from animals
hunted on land or harvested from seas, lakes and rivers.
This was usually supplemented with gathered greens and
roots, along with some nuts, seeds, and the ocassional
wild fruit and berries when they were in season and
could be found.
Their
diet did not contain high carb foods!
There were no grains
such as rice, corn, wheat, or the bread, pasta and cereals
they are made into. There weren't any potatoes or potato
products to eat, nor was fruit or fruit juice available
the way it is today.
Look
at the amount of high carbohydrate foods that make up
our daily diet. The typical "healthy" breakfast
of cereal and milk, toast and orange juice, is loaded
with carbs. (Orange juice contains more sugar than Coke!)
Carbs
are converted by your digestive tract to glucose, which
floods into your blood stream!
To
try and clear the excess glucose from your blood stream,
your body produces insulin to transport the sugar to
the cells of your body where it is used for food and
energy.
But
with diabetics the insulin can't clear it all, and the
excess sugar just backs up in the blood stream.
That
was just breakfast. Now lets add the typical lunch,
dinner and snacks, with the bread, pasta, potatoe, fries,
and chips, and you see why so many diabetics are having
trouble keeping their blood sugar levels under control.
The
reason their blood sugar levels are not under control
is because continue to consume more carbs than their
body can handle!
People
crave carbs because they are addicting!
So,
if people become addicted to carbs, which causes their
blood sugar levels to increase, what is the solution?
That's
where we come in!
Our mission is to
help people across America and around the world control
and improve their own quality of life. By "control
and improve" we mean addressing the cause of their
diabetic condition, and enabling them to naturally and
safely lower their blood sugar levels and reduce their
dependancy on medications.
We do this by providing
the individual with information on the causes of increased
blood sugar levels and what works to stop and reverse
it, information that is based on clinical evidence.
Most
people will make the correct decision on how to improve
their life and condition if they are provided with true
and correct information.
We provide a remedy
that is specifically designed to reduce and eliminate
the carbohydrate cravings that create and keep a person's
blood sugar levels high.
This remedy is so
effective that we stand behind it unconditionally. It
is so effective that on average, our customers will
see a reduction in their cravings within a few days.
