How to Tell if Your Doctor Cares! A recent issue of the FDA’s publication of Drug Safety published the following survey results:
Doctors do not read or study the lengthy lists of side effects for the hundreds of drugs they can prescribe, nor could they remember if they did. The survey continued...
Because of not knowing what the side effects are, or not feeling they have the time to get into it with the patient, or feeling it’s not a big problem, the doctor often doesn’t pay attention to the patient’s complaint. The survey continued...
The bottom line here is that if you feel you must take drugs or medications, you need to read and understand what the potential side effects are. Do not count on your doctor either warning you of side effects or even knowing what they are. If you suspect that you are experiencing any side effects, demand that your doctor listen to you and give you a solution. If your doctor won’t take the time to listen and help you solve the problem or just brushes you off, that doctor is not really interested in your welfare. Fire him! Even if you feel he/she has a “wonderful” bedside manner, immediately replace him/her with a doctor who will listen to you and help work out a solution with you! If you do not take responsibility for your health and well-being, and the well-being of your loved ones, no one else will! A Diabetic Success "A few years ago I was diagnosed with high blood sugar and was given Glucophage. I had gone from one 500 mg of Glucophage a day up to 2000 mg's a day and even that was leaving me with a fasting blood sugar in the 120's. My last A1c was 7.8 and I freaked. A Blood Pressure Success "Being 64 years old and diabetic, I found out 6 months ago that I had high blood pressure running 213/112. I was really surprised as even though I’ve been overweight most of my life my BP was always at the low end of normal. "I began taking the Blood Vessel Support Formula, no drugs. For the first three months I didn’t really notice a lot of change in my BP. But I knew that when using nutrition the changes occur at the cellular level and can take time. "Taking this product has paid off for me and my BP is now back in normal range, and this morning it was 138/86. Yeaah!"
